Likes

campus is decent and conviniently located in the city, transportation is easy.
faculty is experienced, and placement for core branches is decent
Clubs are fairly active and cultural fest takes place every year

Dislikes

exams every months gets stressfull for students leaving less time for extra curricular activities
campus and infrastructure is relatively small and old
clubs don't get funds for projects and competitions

college curriculum is well structured and covers a variety of subjects. it is designed to give students a good mix of theoritical knoledege and practical skills. the courses are relavent to real world cases and industry applications of concepts.

Fees and Financial Aid

college provides some scolarship options to st/scs and obc students as well as the students with low family income. Govt. provides various scolarship like medhavi etc as well and students can appy to these opportunities fairly easily. Placement cell is fairly active and most of the qualified candidates make the placemnt.

as a whole the experience was average, some asspects are amazing and it all about the people you meet and spend your 4 years of college with. there are a lot of events and seminar organised by different cultural clubs throughout the year and the college fest named "ayam" takes place every year.

Admission

admission process is quite lenghty and students have to visit the campus for final addmission process. the students are admited on the basis of jee marks and can apply for counselling through MPDTE portal.

some of the faculty members are fairly qualified and supportive of students extra curricular project. student to faculty ratio is a bit high as 1 prof. teaches a class of 130-150. prof are strict about the attedndance and academics.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

No negetive remarks about our college. Placements and companies visited at Jawaharlal Institute of Technology, [JIT] Khargone. The Institute has a separate cell for training & placement that cares for the industrial exposure & placement of students. They have the intensive classes for communication skills, personality development and group discussion that makes them to lead in the competitive world.

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
