- One of the things I like about SCAC is the number of events organized and the support of the teachers to organize the same

- This college has a small campus due to which organising events gets a bit more challenging but yes the colleges management does it in available resources.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm enrolled for Bachelors of Commerce with Costing specialization. And all the major aspects of Costing are covered in the subject with additional subject like Economics, Maths and entrepreneurship.
Internships Opportunities
When a student is into Second yeat college offers various internship offers Companies which offer internships are - Delloite, DE Shaw etc. With lots of learnings and corporate exposure. These companies also offer stipends for the students who havr enrolled for the internship.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the college is very active and efficient. There are varios companies coming to this college with a variety of roles to get into. Some of the companies- Delloite- for Audit & Assurance role DE Shaw- for finance related roles And various other companies. Since I want to make a career in finance I'm aiming to get placed in DE Shaw for Reasearch Analyst role.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I've enrolled for a plain B.com degree. The fees structure is approx. 32,000/- INR. But fees structure varies for course to couse. Also the placement cell of this college is very efficient with various placement opportunities.
Campus Life
When it comes to events and other activities SCAC definitely stands out. There are various events conducted by various clubs in the college for ex. Cultural club Symbiosis Audit and Assurance club Symbiosis ArthKosh etc. All these clubs and the events are student held. And all the teachers are very supportive for organising such events
Admission
The admission process for the college is very smooth and efficient. There are no entrance exams for B.com at least all the admission are offered on merit basis (12th std. Marks). And the the cutoff for AY 2023-24 was avg. 80.00% I scored 85.33% so I got the admission in the second merit list.
Faculty
Definitely, all the teachers in SCAC are highly qualified with very good teaching skills. In fact one of our costing teachers had a MBA degree from Melbourne University. And there class felt less of a teaching class and more of discussion which lead to great understanding of concepts. And we all can directly connect to teachers in case of any doubts or problems and they always support us.
