My review for the college Yenepoya

The course is a good course. I like computers and working on it. That is why I chose this course. And the college have added some more courses in it that are really important to study. Some faculties from the IBM company also come to teach us. The future of the world is on computer and technology. So this course will be really helpful to get a good job. And it might help us built our own business.

There are some interships with the college. The main on is coursera. They took a small class about what it is an what is the use of it. They have a site. We must login into it. There are so many classes in it. There are recorded classes in it. We must watch it. There will be some assignments. At the end of the course we get the course cirtificate. We could use it in the interview in a company. With this we get much more experience in the field. It would help us get the placement.

Theassure the placements in many companies. They give assurance in getting job in TCS. It may depend on what skill we have and what we study. If we study great in IBM we get placement in IBM. There will be faculties who teach us from IBM. So it will be easy for us to get the particular job in IBM. They would tell us the easy tricks to get the job.

There are 2 types of BCA courses. One is teaching IBM and TCS. The other one is only teaching TCS. So there is a variation in the fee. The TCS only cost 65000/sem. But the IBM and TCS cost 85200/sem. There is a slight increase by the end of the course.

The overall experience is really good. The college is really good. There is centralised air conditioning so that there is no dust in the atmosphere. There are securities in all doors. They will check everyone if they have the ID card or not. There are many cultural events. There is a football turf near the campus. They provide us soccer matches. There is a new gym. It is also air conditioned. They does not buy big fee in the gym. The classes are high in technologies. They does not have black board which use chalks or pens. It is digitalized. There is 2 big screens. The class is really big. It can contain upto 150 pupils.

The hostel was an unused building which was built a few years ago. But it is a good building. The renewed it. The hostel is a 2BHK building. They provide AC in the room. But we have to give extra fee for it. The only problem is the food and wifi. At first the food was really bad. But then they sorted it out. They told us there would be wifi in the hostel but if didn't had one. It came only after a few months. The food is still not that great. Food is not worth the money we give as hostel fee. They are strict about getting in and out. We must enter the hostel before 7pm.

The admission process was not that hard. They emailed us the counselling date. They also told us what all important documents we must take. There were a lot of students for the admission. Then at the auditorium they asked the documents one by one. It was kinda easy. The eligibility for this course is 65%. The application form is available in the Yenepoya's official site. The college does not require to right an entrance exam.

There are experienced and inexperienced faculties. There are new teachers. Some of them are not that good at teaching. But some are. Still they are very friendly. The important subjects get good teachers.

We did not write any kind of exam or anything. We must have atleast 65%of marks in plus two. That's all. The first day at councelling they took a short interview. With one of our parent. The councelling day showed us a presentation about the college without parents.
