College Life

• The futuristic scope of this specialisation made me choose this course with this specialisation • There are lots of real world applications for AI and ML in our current world, so we would have very good career in this Field • Faculties should be more focused on the areas which would be helpful for our career more than the knowledge, like teaching every single thing about a programming language as skill is very important for this field. • We have 2 internals before the semester end examination. First internal is conducted after the 30days the semester had started and the second internals would be after the 30 days of the first internals. Duration of per sem will be around 4-5 months.

• Our college is providing internships based on our interest topics. But they didn't mentioned any other details about the internship programs they're offering • Project topics are similar to our specialisation along with web development with AI and business analytics. I can't assume the outcome as I didn't have any experience in internships

• I think our college has providing placements. The Mangalore campus have the placements. I'm not sure about the placements , but I think they are providing for interested students • we don't know is there any eligibility because we are the first batch in Bangalore campus. • After getting this degree I want to pursue my master in AI / ML.

• The year wise fees I'm paying is 1,37,000/- for BCA with specialisation of AI, Machine Learning and Robotics with the certification of IBM and TCS. Students who chosen the same course with TCS certification only should pay 1,30,000/-. • They didn't costing any other fees other than that we are paying and there is no concession based on categories. • The batchmate of mine is paying 1,65,000/- with same course and same certification • I'm paying 1,37,000/- because I'm eligible for the scholarship provided by the management. Scholarship will only be provided to the student who secured 90% and above marks in 12th grade and 75% above in odd Sem. The scholarship will be available only in even Sem. • The fee before scholarship - 82500/- ( per Sem ) The fee after securing scholarship - 47,500/- ( per Sem)

• First of all I'm not satisfied with my campus life as we didn't have any Particular campus. We have only 2 floors of campus in BCIT. We have our campus inside the IBM company. So we didn't get the campus experience. • We have a library in our college and one section is completely course content books. • We had an annual event on previous year named Yenotsav and it was a lit. We didn't have much events on our college. So the college life was little bit bore. They focuses mainly on the academic only.

• The hostel has been closed within 1 year. For now there is no hostel facilities. I had opted hostel for first year and the experience was very worst. The rooms are very small for 4 members and they cost 1,30,000/- for 1 year. • The quality of meal at the beginning was very good and it was tasty. But after 1 months it starts getting worse day by day. The quality was even worse than the taste. We had got fathers in chicken, worms and hairs • The hostel is not affordable as they didn't worth the Money. The price was totally high. • Now I'm renting an apartment in nearby of our college

• I didn't applied to any particular college for my studies. But I had tried to get admitted for IISc Bangalore, but their eligibility criteria didn't matches my qualifications. For Bsc Chemistry they said we had to score within AIR 200 in JEE. So I dropped the idea of getting into IISc. • The second college is this Yenepoya University Bangalore, this college was suggested by my friend and later I had researched about this college and I understand the value of certification and the opportunities they provide. That's why I had came here. • The eligibility criteria for getting into our college will be like the student must scored atleast 50% of marks in 12th grade and for admission we should pay 26000 and the amount of 26000 will be reduced from first semester fee.

• According to the number of students we had in our batches the ration will be like 5:500, because we have 1600+ for BCA students for 2023 batch. The relationship between some facilities and students are really good. But some of them will target Particular students and aims them without any reason. • The faculties are good at teaching not all of them but most of them are good. They teach us every module and every notes and they provide notes for every module without fail. They provide every essential elements for examination • As we have pdfs and question banks for every module, it will make our exams easier by referring the question bank and the notes they provide. • If we study very well the exams are pretty good we can score good marks, if we didn't the difficulty level would be based on your knowledge.

• We have gym and cafeteria on 4th floor. We can access the gym till 10. The cafeteria will close by evening 5. Library is on 3rd floor • Our college didn't provide any hostel facilities as there were lot of problems existed. The class timings will be like 8.30 - 1.30 for BCA, BBA and B.Com courses, but for AHS they have classes till 4pm from 9am • we didn't have any hangout places in our college as we didn't have any campus and we can enjoy our night life in Bharatiya city and not in campus
