Course Curriculum Overview :

The Curriculum is a disaster. The colleges in Kerala come under a single University called the APJ Abdul Kalam University. Their grading scheme is questionable. The difficulty level of the exams are a solid 9.5 out of 10. The courses like Disaster Management, Sustainable Engineering is no use for the B.Tech.It is just a waste of utitlty.

Placement Experience :

Placements in the college are mainly in Call Centers. Students become eligible for campus placements in third year. Companies like TCS, Sutherland have visited. Some 50-60% students get placed. Getting a job after the degree will be based on your skills.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for the college is based on the marks secured in +2 exams Their is also an all Kerala test called KEAM through which the students in the ranks can study for free.I think all private colleges have these type or similar to these. For scholarship we can apply for National Level Scholarships like MOMA and many other Scholarships. There are no campus employment or stipend in the college.

Campus Life :

There is one annual fest called Arts Day which is not that good and there are no technical fests in the college. There are books in the library but they do not align with the current scheme. It is for old scheme. There are no technological and facility provision in the college. There are no sports or extracurricular activities in the college. There are some small clubs in the school but they are not active

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is KEAM exam and +2 Application forms can be found on the keam website. Timing of the exam may fluctuate but most probably the exams will be conducted in the morning. Reservations are there for SC/ST.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is 1:5 for Mechanical Engineering. The faculties are very passionate towards teaching and motivate us to secure good grades. We can interact with the teachers any time we want.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
