College management was nice. Its infrastructure is its USP. The environment is very friendly. Study pressure is sometimes high.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure is based on the syllabus basically and there are lots of exams and assignments which help in building the great understanding of the subjects thoroughly. It lacks the practical knowledge which makes student weak in practically figuring out the concepts.
Placement Experience
Placements of college are based on the majority of computers science and IT streams as the companies visited are mostly from IT sectors. Internship fair is held every year which helps students to provide them internships.
College Events
1. College Annual fest- It's a college annual fest which is celebrated annually and there are many attractions like games, DJ, special guest, technologies etc. 2. Sports fest- It is also held annually and students take participate in their interest in sports. Prizes are distributed to the winners. 3. Internship fair- It is a fair in which different types of companies and start-ups participate o hire students from different streams as per their eligibility criteria.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure of the course(ECE) was 1 lacs approx. annually including other expenses like books from book bank, security fees etc. Notes and other additional books have to be purchased by the student itself. There were no extra fees for attending the seminars, annual fest, sports fest etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any scholarship or education loan. As far as I know, there are no scholarships offered by the college itself.
Campus Life
Campus life was good. Students used to hang out in the canteen premises or in the ground in their free time. There were many societies of music, drama, dance and fashion society. There was a team of IEEE also. There was a sports room too which involved indoor games like table tennis, carrom-board, chess etc. It was pretty good.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students were very helpful. They used to interact with the freshers and help them in any sort. Seniors also used to guide us and encourage us to participate in different types of societies.
Admission
I cleared the IPU CET 2014 exam and secured a good rank to get into northern India engineering college. My session started from 20th August 2014 after submitting the required documents. I was in the batch of 2014-2018. My session ended in June after the final exams.
Faculty
The faculty is helpful as long as the student is willing to be helped. They provide good notes and assignments which helps students in their studies and to score good marks in exams. They also focus on weak students and give them extra classes and notes required for the studies.
