Likes

The fees structure is low as compared to quality of education
Computer lab and other technological aspects are good.
To enhance physical fitness college has self gymnasium which is absolutely free

Dislikes

The benches are quite old and renovation is required.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course offers you a fine blend of both theoratical subject as well as practical work. The subject you will learn in theory, you will be able to do practicals relating to it. Also subjects like R Language, Python , Machine learning are included in course.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 5800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is minimal with around 6 to 7k fees per year which includes your tution fees, gymnasium fees, NSS fees, Library Charges , etc. As the college is Govt Aided students get scholarship in fees based on their caste under the MAHA DBT Portal of Maharashtra State Government

Campus Life

The annual fest URMEE helds in the month of February everyear which gives a strong platform to students to showcase their skills like dance , singing, beat boxing, body building etc. College do have clubs like Vaadsabha(Debating unit of college), NSS(National Service Scheme), Science Association, etc. College do have a big ground and on regular basis the students participate in various sports activities that happens in or outside the campus

Admission

Students should be atleast in last year of of his higher secondary schooling. There is no separate exam for admission, it is based on the marks student have achieved in higher secondary schooling. The college website gives all information regarding filling application form to paying fees.

The Faculty members are too supportive. The student to teacher ratio is approx 7:1. All the teachers are well qualified starting from Clearing NET SET Exam to holding the PhD. in various subjects. The friendly nature of teachers allows us to interact freely with them and clear our doubts

Well worth the journey!

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

I applied in this college because it is government college and is situated in the heart of the city where it was very easy to reach in addition there are many hostels nearby so the area is very reachable. My college is one of the best college in pune hence i applied in it and got admitted. I also applied in one other college but cutoff of that college was much higher.
