There is a very poor probability of getting internships depending on your college , But yes ofcourse you cab apply for internship knowing from your family and friends In name of internships college only provides you with an opportunity to know about applications of your department in different sectors such as Railways , Mpeb , Bsnl by doing vocational training in these places

From the end of 7th semester stundents become eligible for campus placement There are a lot of options for campus placements companics like Tcs , infosys , for civil students larsen and toubro paid a visit last year , Tech mahindra The average package on a honest view of mine is around 4 lac per annum Around 40 to 50 percent students get placed , of course depending upon the number of students applying for a particular company based on your skill level My plans after getting the Bachelor's degree is to go for a masters degree in tech to get a little more assurance for jobs in future

Fees and Financial Aid

For general caste annual fees is 22800 inr.. For obcs its somewhere around 15k and For Sc and Sts it's just 3200. so if u come under Sc and St it's a great deal to pick Jabalpur engineering college. Since it is a Government college , u will be provided with a large amount of schemes which helps ur study by providing scholarships.

In Jabalpur engineering college aka JEC there are many annual fests that play an important parts in students academic and other co curriculum There are many events happening in our college such as a sports fest called Aavahan which happens to takes place on an yearly basis , If you are an hosteller you get many opportunities to play in sports like cricket , football , volleyball inside hostel campus There are also other tech events based on coding , cybersecurity , web development which involves skill development of an individual ..

Ec , It ,Cs • we need to fill the college admission form by the process of Mpdte councelling.. where you can fill forms of various universities and based on your ranking in Jee you will be provided the best college u can get ...

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

After my jee didn't go well, I applied for MPDTE counselling where I got to know that JEC jabalpur best fits as per my financial conditions. Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch .
