Physics life in S.B College.

The curriculum was decided in the way for those who are interested in further research in physics. The relevance is less now. Students can go for teaching and banking after the course. Some got jobs in companies like MRF.

In my department, internships have less priority. Sometimes some students go for internships with attendance. Some students did projects in other universities and research institutes. There is no compulsory to do internship in my course.

There are campus placements in companies like MRF and in many banks. South indian,federal banks and Tyre manufacturer MRF visited in our institution. We will get 3-6 lakhs per annum package from those companies. Around 10% of students places there.

Campus is very financial friendly. If you dont have money to study,the management will help you to study and give you money. There is no management fee.You will get all scholorships and placement opportunities. Fee structure is based on semesters.

My overall experience was good. I many opportunities to find myself.There are many clubs there. I like film club more.They show international films there in every week and also they discuss about the films. College's infrastructure is very good.They are focusing on nature friendly campus.

Hostel was very nice. We can choose single,double,triple people rooms. There is 4 hostels for men in the hostel. The food provided from hostel mess was superb. Around 45000 needed for one year. In hostel we have sports equipments to play evening. Each rooms have fan, toilets are neat and clean.

Admissions are purely based on the 12th mark. The application can be found in the website and it has around 200rs fee. There are reservation benefits in the rank list. There is no entrance in B.sc courses. The admission process is good.

In my department tha faculty to student ratio was good.there is around 11 teachers in my department including guest lecturers. They are very good at teaching and they have good reaserch skills. We can always reach them and ask our doubts. They are very good in lab and very friendly with us.
