The course is very easy and simple to make sense of and it provides further opportunities to be in the Market as well it prepares you for real world problems and life experiences it can be very illuminating studying this course

The internships opportunities are available in the college and Hindustan Unilever and tata consultancy services are the two I am aware of who pick up students every year from this college as well as the internships are available in all parts of the country as well

There are enough placements offered in the college and the faculty members also help us guide for placements and internships as they are experienced and do this every year the package goes from 1 lakh upto 4 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is good and affordable the price of the course is only 50 k per annum and there are financial aids and scholarship available for the students as well for example the reservation quota students get scholarship after 1st year course

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty much relaxed and there are canteen and basket ball courts as well available in the campus it is very safe and friendly the clubs and groups are very active and they let you participate and work together

Admission

My addmission was easy and simple I got direct admission in the college and no exam was required only my documents were required in the admission process I got in just by filling the form but that's only applicable for vocational courses

Faculty

The faculty members are very smart and intelligent and friendly and Frank with us and share their life experiences with us and they tell us a lot about future prospects as well and help us understand the topics better

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree. The admission process is we have to fill an online form ,after that we have to clear an entrance ixam ,then after clearing the cutoff we get selected for the course. Thanks...Read More
