The college management is very good. Management always try to solve all problem or grievance of student. According to me experience GITA is one of the best colleges for build up career in B.Tech course.

Must my friends placed in different repudiated Privet limited company through online and offline campus placement drive. There is a regular pre-placement training course at our college which is mandatory for all the student. There is also ISDC Center inside GITA campus to develop the industrial skill. This course too much help to get a job. There are several companies visited for campus drive i.e Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, L&T, Jindal, Oen India Ltd etc.

There are several events throughout the year. Some important events celebrate in my college are Tech fest -2011, college annual function, technical seminar, Industrial visit to NINL (JajpurRoad), NALCO (Angul), workshop, inter college cricket tournament etc.

Free structure designed by govt of odisha which is affiliated to the BPUT university. The fee structure is feasible by all category of student. GITA handles 32 varieties of scholarship of different state as well as central govt bodies. As a result every student opting for scholarship & gets it.

GITA campus life is Unforgettable moment of life. Over all gender ratio of boys and girls in our college is 3:1 (that depends on branch). In EE branch there is 14 well equipped and 2 smart rooms. College always conduct state level competition like tech-fest, sports, hackathon,robotics etc.

In side campus there are 15 numbers of boys and 4 numbers of girls hostel. Student accommodation in hostel according to branch and year wise. There are several facility inside the hostel like canteen, Gem, Yoga, 24 hour electricity, security, Wi-Fi connection, recreation room, daily newspaper Reading room etc.

There is an active alumni cell inside the campus named " GITA VINTAGE ". Most of the alumni attached to a cell for social work like blood donation camp, Relief to flood-affected people, cyclone affected people, Teaching orphanage kids, donation of an ambulance. Alumni also proposed a suggestion to management for an overall development of the college. Yes, that activity helpful to society and college both.

GITA is under BPUT university located at rourkela (It is the state technical university of Odisha). There are 110 colleges affiliated to the university. The end semester examination structured, designed and conducted by university. Each year there is 2 semester i.e Odd sem (on November & December) and Even sem on (April and May).

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is a state-government controlled centralised test for admission to private and governmental medical, engineering & management institutions in Odisha. After examination test a OJEE rank is published. Through counselling procedure of govt. of Odisha the candidate opt the suitable college.

All must the entire faculty in my college having M.tech or PhD qualification from the different repudiated institution. Faculty members develop reciprocity and cooperation among students and faculty. They explain the engineering topic very nicely if any doubt they cleared the in doubt clearing class. They also guide a student to design and develop a project in the final year.
