Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Electrical engineering is an incredibly valuable field with a vast array of applications that are increasingly relevant in the future. It provides a strong foundation in understanding and innovating technologies crucial to various industries such as renewable energy, telecommunications, automation, and smart infrastructure. Pursuing electrical engineering not only equips individuals with practical skills but also fosters critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability, preparing them to tackle the evolving challenges and opportunities in the technological landscape of the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

The expenditure of approximately 3 lakhs, encompassing hostel fees and exam charges, along with an annual e-grant of 27,000, appears justified. Your enthusiastic engagement in club initiatives, including teaching and mentoring, enhances the educational journey, significantly augmenting the investment's value. This comprehensive approach to learning not only enriches academic pursuits but also fosters personal development. Including hostel and exam fees in the total cost offers a thorough understanding of the financial commitment, while the annual e-grant helps alleviate expenses.

Campus Life

4.5

The college provides a wide array of activities and resources, such as magazine publication, cultural celebrations like Diwali and Valentine's Day, and events like Freshers' and Union Day. Its well-stocked library, filled with curriculum-aligned materials and additional texts, showcases a dedicated focus on academic enhancement. With guidance from seasoned faculty, the institution prioritizes sports, extracurricular pursuits, and partnerships with esteemed organizations like IEEE, ISTE, G-BOT, NSS, and KARMA, fostering comprehensive education and nurturing both intellectual advancement and character development.

Admission

I completed my higher education in Malappuram and then went on to attend the Kerala Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical (KEAM) entrance examination. Through KEAM, I secured admission to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Faculty

4.5

At Government Engineering College Wayanad, having a robust faculty capacity implies that there are sufficient qualified professors and instructors to cater to the educational needs of the students. This typically leads to enhanced academic support, a diverse range of expertise, and opportunities for collaborative research and learning initiatives.

Interview Experience

4.5

At this college, the admission process does not include interviews. This approach offers a more inclusive and equitable admission process, allowing prospective students to be evaluated based on their academic qualifications, extracurricular activities, and personal achievements. Eliminating interviews can reduce biases and provide equal opportunities for all applicants, ensuring that the selection process is transparent and merit-based. It also streamlines the admission process, making it more efficient for both the college administration and prospective students.

If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.
