The campus library is good.It has lot of books
The campus has open gym.The gym has basic facilities.
The campus has big grounds for outdoor games like cricket.

Dislikes

There is network problem on the campus .
Traffic congestion is prominent at campus.
There is no diversity at campus and faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very considerate of the real world application. Also the teachers are very experienced. Overall the experience is quite good but there are fields that need improvisation and should be addressed.

Internships are provided in faculty. There are paid and also non paid Internships available. Social work organisations and Non governmental organisations provide for various opportunities and growth..

Placement Experience

The university is providing placement .The campus has placement cells.Different companies comes every year and provide jobs.Many student got job.The average salary is 5lpa.From 6semester student are eligible

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee has hiked over the years . I got admission on paid seat whose fee is 10000 along with the regular fee also I come from general category so I could not get any reservation benefits and scholarships.

Campus Life

The experience us food.it provide a lot of facilities.the classroom is good and teacher are very cooperative. Different type of societies are present to make your character develop .Sport facilities are good

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities is good.Room are spacious and good in condition.Basic facilities is present.lawn is present with flower and trees for fresh air and good environment. Freezer and gazer is present.meal is very good.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

I took admission in the year 2022 in B.A(Hons.) Sociology in the faculty of social sciences, Banaras Hindu University. The eligibility of the course was CUET examination which is an entrance examination conducted by the University Grants Commission. The application form is available on the Website of Cuet Samarth. The application fees was 1000.The difficulty level of the exam is not very difficult.

There many companies sales department do hire for this college sometimes And in the last year like when you are in 5 semester than you will get a chance to get placement in different companies and most probably some of my batchmates got placement I guess

1. i chose this course because it offered subjects like political history and eco. which are highly relevants for government exam 2. the course builds a solid theroretical base, which is useful for acedemic research or competitive exam. 3. the course should include presentation skills, research writing, field surveys, and use of software like excel or data analysis tools. 4. modern students who attend leatures and study regularly can score well. how ever, conceptual clarity is needed to write high, quality, analytical answers.

?I dont remeber clearly about the eligibjlity process but i think from the sem5 students are eligible for the placement campus im not sure about it ?many companies like Pan India ,Sbi ,axis bank etc visited in the campus ?the avarage package i have seen from the student got the 4 to 5 Lpa And the hight i think its 13Lpa ?60% PECENTAGE OF STUDENTS getting placemnets ? my plans are diffrent ,after completing my degree i want to go further for the film making

Banaras Hindu University has some problems like slow paper work, old building in some parts and things taking time to get fixed but still there something special about it. The campuses big and peaceful and you meet student from all over India which makes the experience interesting .Even though the system isn't perfect like a BHU teachers you a lot not just from book but from people and moments. There are fests,group studies, late night chai and walk under the tree that you will remember for long time. I just applied for BHU and not any other colleges because of BHU legacy and good name. It is also an affordable I got selected in my first cut off round and the process of admission is not very complex.
