MNNIT Detailed review

Answering frankly the course curriculum for core chemical engineering is easy than other branches of our college.As from 2022 has been applied to our college so we have to study some core chemical subjects in our First year. Frankly speaking i like subjects like thermodynamics ,fluid dynamics, heat transfer, therefore i pt for this course and talking about the faculty members some are exceptionally good but some are just okay. There were two exams conducted during the whole semester mid semester and end semester exams and the difficulty of exams are medium. Some subjects are very easy but some like mass transfer are very tough. as far as exams like gate are concerned there are two teachers who teaches us for the gate level and also make semester exams including gate level questions and some faculty members make exams on the basis of there class notes. overall the course curriculum is good and you get much time for extra activities or exploring extra fields

There are decent companies that come to our college for intern some of which include sprinklr, Goldman sachs, microsoft, atlassian, oracle, schrodinger, sales force, delloite, de shaw, morgan stanley and many more . sprinklr come With the role of product manager and other consultancy firm alson comes for the role of product manager with a stipend in between 50,000 to 70,000 and other software based compnies comes for the role of SDE with stipend Ranging from 100000 t0 1.5 lakhs permonth. other companies such as qualcomm, texasinstrument come for hardware role with a stipend of 50-70k per month. Some compaies come for the role of supply chain management with stipend of 60000. Overall the internship oppurtunities is good in our college.

The campus placements of our college are excellent for CSE,ECE and EE and decently good for other branches. I am a student of chemical engineering and many company like oracle, Goldman sachs, sprinklr, xpedia, BPCL and many more come for campus recruitment. Apart from these companies Microsoft, DE shaw, salesforce, Atlassian, morgan stanley, texas instrument, american express, qualcomm, CISCO come for top branches like CSE, ECE and EE. the intern season starts from 3 year starting (basically july) and continues till feb or march and placement season starts from final year starting. most of the companies provide ppo to the intern students and talking about this year inspite if being recession mort than 70% of the college is placed in generally each branches. Mostly multiple offers are very exceptional in our college but still given to some extra ordinary students and off campus placements are also good . the highest package recorded this year was 63.7lpa by 10 students

The fees to be paid is decided by the family income category.The overall fees for the people whose family income is greater than 5 lakhs the overall fees (excluding mess fees) is 98500 per semester and for those whose family income is between 1 to 5 lakhs is 51533 per semester ans for those whose family income is less than one lakh is 36000 per semester.My family income is between 1 to 5 lakh so i pay 51833 per semester in which 21833 is my tution fee and 12000 is hostel charges and 19000 is institute fees. The hostel fees and institute fees are same for all . Aditionally caution fees of 5000 has to be paid at first semester which is refundable at the completion of course. Also certain scholarships are availabe in our college provided by the UP government and the top performers of the different courses (BRANCHES) were awarded money by the college as they have to apply in the form released by the college.

my overall experience in the college is good as I am part of Arts commitee of our college. there are other commitees too for dance, drama and media .Also the campus of or college is lush green but it is not that much big asespecially for boys. The central is decent. It has decent number of books but still it can be improved. Moreover most of the classes are comfortable well equipped with projector and Air conditioners. Tech clubs:- the tech clubs are decent especially the robotics club is best of them all. Other cub include aero , astro , coding ,SAE etc. Students/Social welfare club :- I am part of rotract club and it is the best of all clubs in our college along with anokhi pahel. Other include green club . The annual cultural fest is culrav but it is just good as renowned singers come once in 4 to 5 years. The tech fest of our college is good ans there are numerous sports club of which athletics is best . You get sports like tennis too in our college .

The hostels for first year and final year are damn good. The room for first year hostels are too big as it is a combination of two rooms and three students are accomodated in first year in a single room .The room contain three bed, three fans three cubord three table and chair with three lan ports with a balcony in each room . The second year rooms are very small and moreover that two persons live in a room with each room equipped with two beds, one fan, one big table , one small table and one chair with one lan port. from third year single rooms are provided to each student with one bed ans all ther facilities remaining same as in second year room. The final year hostels are the best in the college with 13 floors, single room for each student and facilities same as in 3 year. The mess menu is decided by students and is active for all week days and the food quality is best in first year. The mess workers are good in all years and the hostels from 2 year are given on cpi basis.

The online admission process was smooth but the physical reporting was tiring as they have told to come at morning but our number came in the evening. So starting after my jee result was declared ,My rank was 27822 and after the declaration of result we have to apply for josaa counselling. In josaa counselling, After several round of counselling, I got NIT Jamshedpur but then applying for CSAB I Got MNNIT allahabad chemical engineering. The closing rank cut off for chemical engineering in MNNIT allahabad was 28000 in year 2022.After this allotment I have gone to the college website where they share the details of online admission process and physical reporting. The documents required for online submission were my aadhar card along with aadhar card of my parents , income certificate, medical certificate, hostel form, some undertakings(Available at college website) which should be duly signed by me and my parents.After that, These docs were submitted at the time of physical reporting.
