Course Curriculum Overview

3

There must need some improvements in the course curriculum. And I've been selected ECE because communication is the next generation in this whole world without communication system nothing will be perfect and nothing could happen without communication so ece will be a developing and a perfect platform for me to enhance my career goals and studying ece would bring me lots of best jobs and opportunities. But our course curriculum needs some improvement as well as teaching system because the current syllabus is 70 percentage of theory and there's only 30 percentage for practicals but this won't be the best choice "Btech" in my point of view there must include 70 percentage of practicals instead of theory so that we can develop best engineers after the course. Frequency and timing of the examination is perfect now there's no need for any improvements, and that totally depends upon the performance of the students and differs from person to person.

Internships Opportunities

4

I've done my internship from revertech pvt limited the topic was Arduino and iot and the college also provides various internships with stipend 3 months internships has been provided recently. Projects and outcomes depends on person to person and depends upon the companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently the college is providing a number of scholarships. I got egrants and that's really helpful. Complete cost of the education is 52000 for 4 years but there's no need to give the tution fee that will deducted from the scholarship so there's only needed to pay the ex registration fees only

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is going really nice and I'm an active member in all clubs one of those club was robotics club and I've been in the executive committee for one year I've been worked as the assistant creative officer for the club as well as I participated in sports and arts .

Hostel Facilities

4

I got accommodation in the college hostel itself so the transportation is easy. Hostel fees totally depends on how much days we're staying in the hostel and the rent is fixed 310 . Every month fee come around 2000 ,3000 ,1700 like that.

Admission

Admission process was systematic and I got admission in my college through the spot allotment at the same time I've been studying eee at Calicut University institute of engineering and technology were I got admission through second allotment but the college was management and i was interested to complete my professional degree from a government college, So I've been decided to take admission in government Engineering College Wayanad and I got admission in ece through the spot admission now I'm successfully completing my degree within 1 month. eligibility of the course was completely based on the 12th marks and keam rank and the cut off is different for all colleges it depends on the college ranking and all , and everything related to the application for different colleges was up to date in the site Google made it all easy to know all information. I got my admission without any reservation I think because that was a merit seat, the timing was completely based upon the subjects .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
