Hostel, infrastructure, mess food and overall environment is very good.
Faculty are too good and cooperative. Supportive in every possible way.

Course Curriculum Overview

As a student of B.sc (Hons) first two years you have to clear all the optional courses, which is a good perspective to overall development of students but due to this student can not totally concentrate on the main course and competitive exam.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees and hostel fees are very much affordable in both of my college i.e Aligarh Muslim University and IIT Bombay. While in AMU waiting period for hostel are too much and food quality is also not upto the mark but according to fees it's good. In IIT Bombay everything is world class.

Campus Life

IIT Bombay is a place where a student can grow overall and can enroll in innumerable number of course and club inside the campus only. Few fest happens in college like mood Indigo which world class which is also organised by students.

Admission

Till 2016 selection process is through cut-off but later you have to qualify a written test, which is a fair process for admission. While most of the admission process is offline mode which is little inconvenient, it's inconvenient to many students. It will be better if all process availed online

After 3rd semester students become eligible. Around 10 companies visited and made around 20 offers Highest package was 6.3LPA & the average was around 5LPA for executive positions. 70% of the students got placed. I have also got a placement from the college.

The curriculum was more focused on analysis and algebra subjects which made this course a little theoretical but if that's the case with whole DU. Some subjects like financial mathematics, game theory, calculus made us being interested in the course till end.

The journey of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose MSc Statistics because Statistics is a Mother of Data Science and AI which is growing faster in this world. I'm enjoying the statistics. The faculty and students ratio is up to the mark according to me, it is about equal in comparison to students. Teachers are well qualified in their domains and respective subject, and the teaching is also very good. In my college, the exam terms are semester wise and the difficulty level I'll rate up to 7 out of 10.

College review

Space is a constraint. More multi-story hostels like 100 floors are needed. Also, trees and wildlife need to be protected, the lake needs to be protected. Over the last 20 years, vegetation has considerably reduced lake land has encroached. MTech dropouts are an issue, top gate rankers leave college after getting PSU jobs leaving seat void.
