IIT Bhubaneswar pros and cons

I am in my first year so we all first year have all subjects. But as much as I have heard from my seniors , they say that our college civil course is best among other 2nd gen iits. We have one mid sem and one end sem in each semester

Currently I am not aware of intership . But it is quite bad and declined a alot after COVID . People in their 3rd year are allowed for 2 months internship ( this is a con because we are not allowed for 3 or 6month internship)

Btech student in their 8th semester are eligible for campus placement. Tcs, oracle and many company visit and average salary is 15L per annum . Highest package is of 64L . 80-90% students placed depends upon branch. I will take job after my degree

Complete course fees including hostel we have 1,25,000 for one semester. Sc and st have full fee remission . People below 5,00,00rs as annual income have 2/3rd fre remission. People here come for summer internship. 5th year and mtech student join as TA(teacher assistant) and get stipend

We have 4 festival Ashvamedha - sports fest E summit - Entrepreneurship fest Wissnaire - Tech Fest Alma fiesta - cultural fest All kinds of books are available in the college and if any book is not available you can tell them and they will make it available. Pojector and a computer is there in every classroom . Class size is of 120 students with centralised AC. We have variety in sports, we have basketball courts , badminton courts , football ground , tennis court , volleyball court, hockey ground and table tennis we also have coaches for all the sports . We have Gymkhana which is a student body in which all the society comes

We get single room for all students. We have common washroom there are 56 rooms in each floor and hostel consists of 7 floors . There are 3 boys hostel and two girls hostel. We have geyser and shower in bathroom. Our hostel fees is included in tution fee. Mess fee comes around 4000rs per month and quality of food is average

You need to clear JEE mains and then give qualify jee advance to enter IIT Bhubaneswar. Two sessions of jee mains happen and one session of jee advance. Jee mains cutoff for jee advance was around 90percentile. For jee advance i had a rank of 14997 rank at 109marks . Then you need to apply for jee counseling, you are alloted a seat then you can take admission into the college
