B.Tech in biotechnology mostly a research and lab related course. If you have a keen interest in biotechnology related field then it is the best option among all the NITs . You can also develop your skills in different fields through various clubs.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees details are available on the official website of the college. Fees is around Rs. 1,25,000 per year for the academics. Mess fees is rs . 115 per day And for hostel you have to pay rs. 11,000 Placement percentage is around 70% in this branch.

Campus Life

Two fest held annually one is cultural and the another one is the technical, which is biggest fest of the south India . There are various clubs in the campus you can join them by giving the interview of their clubs .

Admission

You should have to pass class 12th with the minimum aggregate percentage of 75% for open category and secure a good percentile in JEE MAINS examination. Every year NTA conducted JEE mains examination for the admission into the all the NITs of the country. You should take the examination. Mains exam is mostly conducted twice a year around the the month of January and April. B.Tech consists of 8 semester. Each sem consists of 1 mid sem examination (40 marks), 1 end sem examination (30 marks), 2 minor (15 marks) examination . You can easily score good by studying 10 hours per week

Coming to the placements our college will be in the first place . Because we will get over 20- 30 for internships and 200-400 for full time companies . So I would give it a 5 star rating for that. The highest pack is 55 lakh and the avg is 8 lakh . I want to get places in a good tech company. From 3 rd semester students can be available to sit in the placements

My Review My Perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is good and mostly useful. The main reason I chose this course is because the subjects were interesting to me. We have two mid-term 30 Marks Each exam and one final exam 60 Marks in every semester. There are internal assignments and lab exams also. The exams are not very hard, but you need to study regularly. Most students pass if they prepare properly.
