Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is purely based on APJ abdul kalam University. The curriculum had wide range of subjects where they had database management which influenced me in getting into this course. The exams conducted should have a break in between after every exams so that students can get more focused on their studies rather than studying in every exam day consecutively.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities are provided to students from every department to have an understanding and knowledge about course and how to practically apply on companies. The internships can be taken by every students with prior permission of the teacher in charge. The students can take their internships in companies near infoparks .
Placement Experience
The placements offers happens at the time of 3rd year at 6th semester onwards. The student are placed in various companies like Deloitte, Microsoft , Google and the demand for placements is more if you are having an honours degree. Over 70-80 students gets placed every year .
Fees and Financial Aid
For NRI people taking admission they have to pay 8000$ in advance , after which they have to give 100000 at the of admission . The college provides internships to students with prior permission from respective teachers in charge . I have taken part in IEEE bazinga treasure hunt in which I scored third place
Campus Life
The campus provides various facilities such lab opportunities, workshops. The college has library facilities in which if a student wants to collect a book he should return it in the respective date. The college provides arts fest like bharatam and tech fest like Techshetra. It provides students in engaging sports facilities like football, cricket.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel consists of 3 blocks .The hostel mess fees is 42000 and hostel is 80000. The hostel food is acceptable and has well experienced chefs over here. The hostel consist of 2 bedroom which has attached bathroom and 3 bedroom with a common bathroom in a floor
Admission
The admission is based on KEAM rankwith an average cut off 4500. A person whose eligible for a particular course should have marks above 75 for physics , chemistry, and maths . All the details regarding the admission process is there in offical site of college with details regarding fees , application form and all. There are 2 internal exams in one semester of which a child should score above 25 upon 50 for him to pass an exam.
