What Students Say

Likes

Hardworking faculty and very supportive towards students
Get to know and socialize with students from different cities and states
Big classrooms and massive library with many books

Dislikes

Classrooms doesn't have proper air conditioning system
The students are not allowed to leave the college campus till 11o clock. And the college uniform is uncomfortable
Sports is not allowed in the campus till 2:30

Course Curriculum Overview

Due toh demand and jobs in the information and technology sector. I have opted for btech in information technology and since my college is number one rank in Jaipur I have opted for it. The college provides many events like hackathon etc to enhance the learning skill of students.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

70-80% students gets placed in our college with average package of 600000 per annum. The lowest is of 300000 per annum and highest is of 40 lakhs per annum. With top recruting companies like infoysys , tata, wipro, etc. the college also provides many intership programs throughout the year

Placement Experience

Our college has average placements. But are good if we compare it from other colleges in Jaipur. Big recruiting companies like tata and Infosys are collabed with our college. My plans during my college is to learn and master everything in information technology as your skills is the only factor that is responsible for your future jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for first semester is fifty thousand and thorough out the year many scholarship is provided by the college. And the college also provides a certain category for the economical weaker sections for the students in which the students with high percentile gets ninety percent scholarship that is that they only have to pay 10000 rs

Campus Life

The college very strict with their studies with a very busy schedule for the students. The college doesn't let us play any sports in the campus till 2:30 and also doesn't allows the students to leave the campus till 11o clock which is frustrating.

Admission

I've got my admission through Rajasthan engineering admission process which is based on score of rank and percentile of jee mains in which you have to fill the college sequence in which you want to get admitted with the respective branch

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile. This is the best college ranked no.1 so I choice it and prefer it to my one position. I don't want to go in government college of Rajasthan so I choice it.
