Course Curriculum Overview

The course circular is good and very efficiently planned. It prepares for the real world application of engineering techniques. Course is very defined and is advantageous as a person gets the knowledge of both Hardware and software sector. There are sessionals, lab experiments, projects , midsems and end semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Here in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology there is a centre known as the K INNOVATION which provides intership and practice opportunities to students and also see the various start up ideas present and upcoming.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is good. Highest package is 64LPA. ECS has a 100% placement rate. Also interships are offered. Also we can get into research work and there is a training and placement center which provides full guidelines.

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees is 3.5lakhs for a year i.e. 1.75lakhs per semester. The hostel fees varies on the types of hostel is chosen. Mess fees is 22500 per semester. Semester Registration is 1000 and 1000 is for end semester exams registration. All the students who have got a rank under 1000 in KIITEEE exam gets monthly 10000 as scholarship. Stipend on the intership starts from 10000.

Campus Life

Various events are held in a year which includes KIIT FEST, CHIMERA,MUN, CODING,etc. Various traditional, coding, marketing, cooking and many other events takes place. Almost every week some or the event takes place. Seniors are very friendly and helpful . Various societies are here . Life here is very cheerful. It has India's best sports facilities. Student learn to balance their academic,social and sports life.

Hostel Facilities

There are various hostel types Ac and non AC, 3bed and 2 bed accommodation. Meal is good... better than various other colleges. Mail will be sent when you clear your KIITEEE exams and you can choose your hostel type.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

A student must have PCM in his/her 12 boards . He/She must have an average percentage of above 60% in PCM in 12 boards. Student need to fill the KITTEEE form available on kiit.ac.in Form is free of cost . Exams date will be given. It could be morning or afternoon shift. Paper is easy to moderately tough. Focus on maths.

My college journey so far

Placement Experience:

Placement is good average package is 8-9 lpa and above 85% student is placed last year with good package and few get less bocz of some reason. I fully do not agree on average package bcoz the fee of 4 year is about 20 lakhs including hostel and mess and other all the things

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

Placement Experience:

In 6th semester, Placement opportunities are available and the criteria is more than 7.0 CGPA,No backlog. Based on the company criteria Many companies like TCS,Tech Mahindra, Wipro,Q-spider, Flipkart, Infosys, Aditya Birla group and 50+ others companies,No offers more than 330+ 75% of students are placed. Highest package is 18 lacs and Average package is 3lakhs based on the companies. More than 75% were getting placements. My plan is to getting placed in company approx package 6lacs per annum with job security

1.Like i did not apply so many colleges but i got selected in my state government college in it branch but i did not go there becuase there not so many companies comes for placement and internship and there not a much opportunity 2.
