Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very good . I chose the course because there is a wide range of career opportunities in this course . Which made to choose this course . The teaching methods of the faculties is very good so I think that there is no need to improve the teaching methods. The examination system of the college is not good because they takes. Too many examinations in form of mid terms .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is very systematic. We have pay the college fees in semester wise system . Half fees is paid in 1st semester and remaining fees is paid in 2nd semester. There are many scholarships are there in college. Students can takes their benifit easily . The college campus is quite good . And it's a regging free campus . Students have to take regging undertaking and responsibilities.

Campus Life

The college main focus is study. They do not focus on annual events. They do not pursue any new event . There only one event takes place in a year which is named as pravah which is also not good. The college campus is quite good it's have a good ground and a library. The clasromms of the college are also very hygenic . The college do not support sports and extra curricular activities. They just do the formalities in the name of sports .

Admission

The admission was taken through reap. I filled out the reap form. Then counselling took place. In 1st round, I received the the college. Then I was asked to visit the college for document verification. The document verification process was easy. Faculties helped me in arranging the documents. I don't think that there is any need to improve the skit admission process.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Placements at MIT are excellent and begin in the seventh semester. Our college attracts top tier companies and for the 2024 graduating batch. Above average college with affordable fee structure

The admission process for SKIT involves REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) counselling. You can apply for REAP through it's official website. The merit is based on student's JEE rank and 12th aggregate percentage in PCM. The application form fee is merely between Rs. 200-300/- and registeration starts around the month of June each year. REAP is common counselling for colleges under RTU(Rajasthan Technical University) including SKIT. Students not able to get seats through REAP counselling merit, can apply through management quota which consists of roughly 10% of the overall seats for a particular branch....Read More
