Course Curriculum Overview
According to the curriculum it is very very good. In Every specified interval they are updating the course curriculum based on the suggestion from the seniors it is very good. the curriculum is created based on the real world requirements in the field of Data science.it starts from basic of Data science and mathematics to advanced machine learning and deep learning concepts which is very very important for the Data science. SET conference in Every semester helps to apply our knowledge into finding solutions to the real world problems.when it comes to imporvement, some students are from computer science department and they are struggling in solving mathematical concepts. because in Data science mathematics is one of the core subject. if they started with some basic mathematics in first semester then it will be very very great.. The difficulty level of the exams is average . if we prepared well then the exams are absolutely very easy.
Internships Opportunities
till now our placements have not yet started but as per the seniors suggestion, federal bank, syngine like big comapnies comes to collage frequently and recuirting Msc Datascience students. and we dont know about the placemnt tasks till now.
Placement Experience
For MSc in Datascience , the students need to study for 3 semesters and in the final semester the students continuosuly attend the placemetns in the campus. But also some companies will come earlier also based on their availability of time. For Msc in Data science Companies like Federal bank, syngiene, TCS , deloitte and many super dream and dream companies will come for placements. salary packages are different for different categories of company when the company comes under regular offer then the average package is 4 LPA . if the company comes under Dream offer then 4 to 6 LPA and if comes under Super dream then more than 6 LPA . Percentage of placements is depends upon year and it varies. but as per the perivous year average placement percentage is 60-70%. After getting the degree i need to work in the reputated companies and apply my skills to the real world problems.
Fees and Financial Aid
when it comes to tuition fee . it is around 82000 inr for the first year and 80000 inr for the second year. for the rank holders they are awarding some scholorships which is very much useful and it is very much motivating to study more and more. Vit provides lots and lots of opportunity in scholorships only for the eligibile peoples. after verifying all the information of the people if they are eligible then the diffiernet scholorships are provided. and i have not taken any job roles in collage
Campus Life
The overall experience in the University is very very great. The collage life in vit is diversified. not only in studies but also sports events like vitpremire league, pongal celebrations , Annual events and Riveria which is one of the largest event conducted in vit vellore every year in the month of february. and they are celebrating all different kinds of festivals like pongal, holi,new year etc. When it comes to library it is such a great place in vit. it contains lots of books they keep on adding books frequently and they contains more than 60000 books. When it comes to classrooms which contains inbuilt projector with white screen and white board by side for working out. Faculties use their laptops to share their screens and they will take the class . some classes contains a biometric attendance and they started making it in all the classrooms.Apart from stuides there are different clubs and chapters where we can join in different clubs and contribute something in that club.
Admission
I am Pursuing Msc in Datascience in VIT Vellore, where the eligibility for that course is Undergraduation in Maths/ computer science/ Physics/ Statistics or UG Degree in Engineering or Technology in CSE/ IT/ ECE/ EEE/ E&I with 60% marks. You can find the Application form only in the official website if VIT. under Admission section you can get the details of Application fees and Dates. For Msc in Datascience the Admission is Based on the UG score. Based on the UG CGPA the rank will be provided to the students for Overall Msc programme.one need to score a very good mark above 8.5 cgpa to conform the seat for Msc in Datascience. Day by Day the scope of Data science is increasing and the Seats are filling very fast every year for Msc in Data science compared to other Msc degree programs.Therfore one need to have a very good UG score to conform the seat and get admission in MSC in DataScience..
