Oppurtunities in IITG

I got seat in mechanical engineering in iit Guwahati. As I am not interested in the core subjects so ihave choosen this course. In this course we will be able to create the new things But it would be difficult a little bit as physical work would be more than the smart work. Teaching system was good but teacher s may not be able to look after all these students due to more strength

There was many companies comes to our college like Oracle Flipkart Tata ISRO etc..companies provides internships for many students but some companies provide stipends also for their project s but some will not provide but improve the experience

Students in the 3 rd and4 th year of btech will eligible to sit in the placements .The highest package was around 2 crore and the minimum package would be like 10 lakhs per annum .Companies like ISRO ,Indian oil ,HP ,bharath petroleum,tata, dell ,oracle etc are the companies visited for placements.around 75 percentage students gets the placement.

There will be concession provided by the campus based on the category and family income. For OBC the fee was almost 180000 per annum including hostel mess etc.. And there will be many scholorship s for girls like kotak Kanya they will provide an education kit ,150000 amount,and a certificate,it was very helpful for us.

There was many fests like alchering technice udgam which was very enjoyable.there in library evru Books are available almost.In IIT Guwahati there was digital classes and central AC.There were many sports competition s too here like spardha spirit in these they used to conduct competition within and outside the campus . Campus infrastructure was good with full of trees

Hostel was very good They allot a room for two members with a cupboard table and two chairs.in hostel they provide a study room with AC Like a mini library Meal in the morning and night was good but afternoon meal was not that much . Registration process was easy it was through online only we have to submit our details like seat allotment letter,fee certificate, aadhar card Xerox.

We have to qualify the jee mains with good percentage and the we have to qualify advance exams with good marks We will the application form in NTA official website We will have the reservation for girls and category too. Paper will be some what easy mainly physics. Maths will be difficult.chemistry will mostly based on the NCERT text book
