Remarks

The admission process took the JEE mains marks and percentile as the base for admission. There were different rounds of admission in HBTU for the given percentile along with the spot round where the vacant seats were given to the candidates. Application forms and details about fees and all sorts of details anre available at its websites. Quotas to works like girls quota, SC-ST, which gives the boost for upper branches for the holding candidates and also in Branch Sliding too. The difficulty is not so much yet it takes quite sometime to get the desired seat.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum gives basic idea of polymer and all the real world application of it. The course also includes chemical engineering subjects which gives a vivid picture of the both chemical and polymer regime. Course contains all the aspects of manufacturing, processing and development of polymeric materials.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internships are provided by the department itself but students can also take internship on their own depending on their flexibility. Stipends are also awarded in different internship depending on their specific and work culture. Many people do their internship in their core but some people also do more than one

Placement Experience

3.5

Placed is quite innthe department due to alumini network. The network helps many students to gain placement in the areas interested. Eligibility to placement comes from 7th semester but people also get placement during their internship in form of PPOs. Companies like Reliance, ExxonMobil, and processing companies from different parts also come in the placements. Almost 80-90% people get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available on the state government basis which comes after the approval from college and comes depending on the income basis. There is no hike in tution fee and other than things are nominal. Yes students do acquire good internship with stipends from the companies that hire for such purposes.

Campus Life

3

The technical and cultural fest is a quite vast area. There many different clubs in h e students can enroll and be a part of club and organise different events through it. Accessibility is quite good in library but the only fuss is about timings of library. Facilities of college in labs are quite average due to many reasons. The clubs do make an impact on everyone's life making them an integral part of it

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is quite average as all the experience as of different colleges do. The menu is kept simple and is change in monthly basis. Registration of hostels is quite simple by filling the form and just submitting the requested documents. The locality around college is famous for pg and rents

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it average . It is comprehensive but not so useful as in todays world we require more skills than the formulas. It is related to communication and i am very interested in that . It is not very good for real world application but wr do learn about the basics and get hold of how everything work but does not cover advanced technology. Syllabus should be revised and should be more based on skills than theory and rattafication There are 3 to 4 exam per semester which can be very hectic that it feels like we are giving exams every few weeks. Difficulty is not that much but syallabus is really hard to cover amd we can not focus more on skills and projects more of the time we are giving exams

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
