Does Jipmer have BSc courses?

I chose Bsc Anesthesia technology because I liked to work in operation theatres rather than in wards. 3 tests( internal assessments )are conducted every 3 month ( with the portions covered till the 3 months of duration)and 20 % from each is accounted for the final examination. A model exam is conducted at the end of 3 tests and 20 % from this is taken for the finals. The final examination accounts for 60% and the remaining 40% are considered from the above mentioned tests. A 75% mandatory attendance is required overall to appear in the final examination. And if it is less than 75% the student is detained for the particular subject in which he/she has low attendance % and is allowed to write the exams (3 tests + 1 model exam + finals ) with more than 75% attendance. Teaching is professionally done by the professors, JRs & SRs of Jipmer. Classes are taken in the Jipmer academic centre for the first year and for the next 2 years classes are taken by your departments we chose.

This course is a 4 year course and in that it comes with a 1 year compulsory internship for the better placement of JIPMERites. The internship provides better learning and practical skills that are need to be applied as a technician in the improvement of the health care facilities.

Academic fees for the first year is about ?:12000/ annum including Jipmer association fees , ID fees and etc . Many scholarships are provided for the students who are financially weak and unstable.. National scholarship scheme is availed for students and is applied via the official nsp scholarship portal. There is a compulsory internship done after the 3 year course which makes the course a 3+ 1 year course. The internship is taken for complete 1year and is provided with a monthly salary.

The overall experience in Jipmer is unbelievable as there is no such institute in the country to provide good infrastructure & health care facilities for the public including its own students ( us ). Spandan - is the major college festival or culturals held every year for 1 week during August/ September month. Interclass competitions within Jipmer students is also provided. Jipmer has a central library for students to enhance their ability to achieve their goals and is present with each &every kind of book for students. The classrooms & lecture halls are fully air conditioned with a 1st quality projector and monitor system for the easy accessibility to technology &teaching. Jipmer has a lot of cultural& sports activities and clubs for each genre one could think of. Jipmer has its own students association where the difficulties & mistreatment faced by the student is brought into notice which unites each and every one of us to be a part of a big family.

JIPMER is one of India's best college known for MBBS but here in Jipmer we also have BSc courses which is not much known for the outside world. Actually in the admission process only the neet score is required and no need for online submission of any docs. You need to pass the UG NEET examination held by NTA.The application forms can be found in the official website of Jipmer & there is no requirement for application fees. Application starts after the completion of ug NEET examination and the announcement of results... Most probably after the completion of MBBS counselling. But for Bsc courses the range of marks is very low than that for MBBS. check for new updates every day from the websites.You'll be provided with the final list of students who have applied and the counselling is conducted after the final list been sent. Original docs needs to be verified on the 1st day and on the 2nd day counseling takes place only for those whose original docs are verified.
