Companies which come are well reputed such as Microsoft, Amazon and Dell.

Dislikes

Having 3 CTS( Term exams) can be very time consuming.
Less emphasis on Practical Training and Tests.
Curriculum is more focused on Theorical topics.

Course Curriculum Overview

Factors such as comprehensive structure, inclusion of labs, and the reuiremnet for mini-projects were influential in choosing this course. There is a need to enhance the focus on practical sessions by teaching ore in the lab.

Internships Opportunities

Mnay companies such as Bank companies like Fidelity Investments, JP Morgan and Golman Sachs come to the campus. Also Companies like Microsoft, Dell, Infosys and Wipro and WellsFargo also come to the campus.

Placement Experience

All students who opt for placements can sit in the pocess and from 6th semester onwards the program starts. Companies varying from TCS to Dell come in intervals of time. And Good companies like Microsoft, Dell, TCS come. There are three categories such as Dream super Dream and Marquee and also Day sharing. The highest Package is from Marquee Companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

For our batch the Fee structure was 3.5 Lakhs and now it has increased. And we will also have to pay for Semester exams on a average of 4k. There are three types of scholarships Founders Scholarship - 4 years and then SRM Merit Scholarship and Chancellor Constituiency Scholarship.

Campus Life

Overall Experince with campus life and SRM has been enriching, with a focus on social enganement, club involvement and infrastructure. Two main fests clubs - Aaruush, a techno-managemnet fest and Milan, a cultural fest.

Hostel Facilities

The quaity of rooms is good and regular maintainance is done but it is very expensive. The management is also very strict and for girls there is no permission after 6:30pm and they can be very harsh in speaking.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

Meeting the criteria involves securing a rank below 8000 in SRMJEE and have good grades in 10th and 12th. The application forms can be obtained from the university website, with a common application fee of Rs.1200. The exam was held around June. Early announcementts of results which can create pressure for students to commit to fee before exploring alternative options.

Placement Experience:

In our University from the starting of Seventh semester we are eligible for campus placements. Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Likes

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

The library is really Awesome in every aspect.
The facilities and labs and everything needed for studies is way above the bar. Great university to actually study and research.

Dislikes

No culturals, and if there is some only secular songs
Strict rules (needed, but some are too strict)

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the student are eligible for placements and prominent companies such as bicon, lifecell, zoho, Thermofisher, lmt mindtree, jubilant food works, siemens, bioartha and around 2030 offers has been made os of april 2026 for my batch. the percentage of students getting placed is over 95 percent as the rest of the students have opted for higher studies like me. i plan on doing my masters abroad.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
