Likes

Extracurricular activities like Fest, games, inter college competition etc
Course and faculty are the sweetest. They guide you through thick and thin
University lifestyle, infrastructure, nature scenery and vibe.

Dislikes

Extra strictness in terms of girls timings
Only coffee day beverage is there and some fast food shops and juice and kriyana shops . No nescafe etc
Monkeys in the university and hostel are too much.

Course Curriculum Overview

College provides plenty of courses and extra circular activities to shape the student's. I solely choose this university because it provides better activities that are not just based on the education but also fitness, brain teaser, health based, sports based etc. They prepare us for the real world by providing us opportunity to learn from various successful expert talks, activities, workshops etc. Teaching method are good there is no more need to improve it. Exams are medium level. Because we are taught well.

Pepsico IIT kharagpur Google developers. Amazon SBI IIT delhi Infosys Vitalth forgers pvt ltd. Etc There are number of companies that offer internship and every thing is mentioned in the university website and broucher.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from 1st semester itself. Pepsico, vitalth forgers pvt ltd. , cisco, SBI, Amazon, Google. Many offers are made. 90? student getting placement. I plan to pursue my phd in this university.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees aren't increased so much... They consider the policy based on the current live ratings. 3 Lakhs full education. National fellowship for higher education for st categories, MOMA scholarship scheme etc.

Campus Life

Resurgence in March, Titiksha in april or may cultural fest in april or may etc Large amount of books are available in the library with e library as well. Well furnished desk and benches. White board, projector etc. . Basketball, cricket, football, kho kho, chess, badminton, vollyball etc. Dance group zenith, music club alap, vikalpians etc

Hostel Facilities

Three fans , charging points, almirah, bed , table, chair, cupboard. Lights, two doors. Meals are tastey and nutritious ( dhalia, bread, prantha, nutri, alooo puri, chole bature, idli/ vada sambhar, fruits, rice, roti, achar, curd, custard, gulab jamum etc) 23350 fees of hostel for one year. And Registration is done offline through hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

12th pass out from any recognized board/ entrance of smvdu (depends) Application forms, fees and dates are mentioned in the university websites. Check regularly university sites for further details . And make sure to check the brochure. Exams are solely based on your 12th class syllabus. And are easy if prepared and difficult if not prepared.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
