Likes

The surrounding, i really love my surroundings here as it is peaceful yet calm here.
I like our library as this is the only place where I can study without any sort of noise.
I like our rooms as they are comfortable and quite ok .

Dislikes

Gatepass - I really didn't like to get myself a pass signed to go home everytime.
Closing of our gate , this gets closed at 8pm every single day . It felt too suffocating sometimes.
The mess food , at first the food was okay but now I didn't even wanted to eat that food

Course Curriculum Overview

Well I didn't have that much of specific aspect which leads me to join this course , I was just sort of curious and my curiosity took me here . They prepare us very well and even we are learning greatly (from the basics) . It improves me in genetic engineering and the course curriculum and professors are even good here . The examination level is quite good and the frequency of exams is quite efficient

Class Size: 41Course Fees: INR 77000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our biotechnology course has around 22000 fee and one percent student of the whole class get yhe scholarship when there cgpa is around 8.5 . The complete course took around 80000 fee per year . I didn't knew about the job roles because the placement ratio is too low because of the area this university is as it is a remote area.

Campus Life

We have Resurgence and titiksha as our main fest . There are alot of books which we got in our library as it includes of almost about every genre and every subject. We have smart classrooms and projectors for every class . We have Sarangh in our university which held every year as it is a sports festival. There are various clubs in our university and me myself is a part of music club .

Admission

I came here through CUET which is an enterance exam and then I got my seat here . The admission process was quite good because as soon as you got your name at the merit list you have to submit your documents and then you get the entry no. as your identity.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

I want to do pursue the BSc in zoology because I liked the like that however is the additional additional subjects that are given with the zoology under the new education policy are not good at all I struggle for the most part of my education like with my Hindi subject I didn't want to learn Hindi but I had to because it was an obligatory subject to pursue. First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
