Course Curriculum Overview

This course includes all the subject related to this field, but the elective subjects were very few and no choices were given to the students. Exams weee conducted three times in one semester: minor 1 minor 2 and major.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such increase in tuition policy. Scholarships are provided in every semester to the topper students who perform well in exams and students who standouts in every event organized by the university . Fees of 1st year is 85000.

Campus Life

Titiksha and resurgence are the events that are organized by the our univevery year. There are more than thousands books available in the university library, ebook facility is also there. Classrooms and labs are well organized

Admission

Due to covid our Admission was done by the online process. Eligibility required for the course is we have to pass our 12th standard with minimum 75%. Applicants should find the application form and dates on the official site of the shri mata vaishno devi university and the overall process was very smooth conducted by the university.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

Remarks:

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. There are so many things that you have to be careful about when you are visiting a college and checking out its ambience. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
