Course Curriculum Overview

The relevance and comprehensiveness depend upon various factors such as knowledge about the practical world and areas of focus. As far as if we are talking about the exams they are conducted thrice per semester as minors 1-2 and majors also 10 marks assignment is also conducted, which can be either presentation, or project.

Class Size: 31Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In bachelors in BIOTECHNOLOGY, the total fee per year is 74,000 and in Masters. It is 84,000, which is quite fair. There are number of scholarships available for students who are well in the curriculum. The university also provided internship programs for its students.

Campus Life

There are a number of societies and clubs running, for example, music, dance, and art. There are fests as well that are conducted yearly like resurgence. There's also a library, which has a wide variety of books for every department. If a person is interested in sports, they can also enroll themselves in various matches like basketball cricket soccer.

Admission

The college takes entrance exams however I was in the Covid 19 batch so the admissions in that year (2020) were based on the 12th board exams. One can find the details, application form on the official website itself.

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

Placement Experience:

Placements aren't that good and for Zoology it's like the research roles in labs and under research professors so mostly a salary of 30-50k is what students of Zooly gets at our college and even DU stidnets get the same.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not. Don’t get influenced by the clean campuses that most of the colleges have; they purposely do it so that people like you get attracted to their appearance and join their team. If you don’t want to waste your hard earned money on the fees of the wrong college which spoils your fairy-tale dream, you might want to take admission in a college that’s good enough for students like you.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
