Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is relevant and adaptable to cater to diverse learning styles. The institute ensures ample co-curricular opportunities fostering well round development. I perticularly value the regular guest lectures by industry experts which offers invaluable insights & networking opportunities. We were properly communicated with course and programme outcomes which was instrumental for guiding our leaning objectives. I'm greatful for the supportive faculty and the holistic learning environment provided by the institute.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internships were offered by various firms like Car India Bike India Magazine, Crazy few Films, Sociabuzz, Turbocharged magazine, SRV media, KNM Studio and many other. Internship or project is compulsory for 3rd year students. Most of the students go for internships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure was hiked by 10% when we were in last year. UG merit scholarship is given to the topper of the semester. Most of the students from our batch opt for the freelancing job as it has better erning opportunities.

Campus Life

4.5

Various cultural events were being held every year. Srijan - the annual photo exhibition, Cineculture - the annual film festival, Frames - annual cultural fest, Funkaar, Sports Culture League and all the other days and festivals used to be celebrated in the institute. The studios are well equipped with variety of cameras and lenses. Various workshops are conducted by industry experts as a guest / visiting faculty.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel and mess facility is available and its quite good especially the food quality. Wi-fi is provided all over the campus. Mess charges are quite affordable and its hygenic as well. Though I felt Hostel charges are bit high. Now a days there are other options are also available outside the capmus for accomodation.

Admission

Eligibility for the admission is 12th pass. I found the admission form on the college website and all other details about fees, programme structure on the college website ssvap.edu.in. The admission process was easy. We need to register for the personal interview. we are then require to submit the photography / video work done by ourself. based on that the personal interview is conducted. After a few days they inform us about the score of the interview session and whether we are selected ot not. After the selection the admission process starts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.
