the positive remark about the college is the placements of the college and the curriculum of the college which involves various specializations. the negative remark about the college is the fees part of the college which is needed to reduced in the coming future.

the course curriculum of the college is the best part of the course which involves various specializations to the program that are fashion photography, people and portrait photography which gives an interesting look to the college students. the exams are conducted twice in a year.

Placement Experience

the placements in the college are done through the industry professionals also although the college do have tie ups with various international brands which hire the students and take along with them and they get a whole new world to explore. the college do not provide any kind of internship to the college students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fees of the program is very expensive and many of the students who wanted to study in the college but due to fees cannot get a chance to study. the fees of the program costs you around 4 lac per annum which is very expensive and the total fees of the program will be around 12 lacs.

Alumni/Alumna

the alumni network of the college is also good although many programs and activities are organised by the seniors itself they also help juniors in many ways they encourage them for their future and the localites guide us through the local areas.

Admission

this is one of the most prestigious colleges of the fine arts. the admissions in the programs is done through a test conducted by the college which involves various creative skills to be measured they call it as a creative visualization test. after the clearance of the CV test you have to appear for the interview round.

Faculty

the faculty of the college is another best part of the college which also involves several industry personnel and staff from various photography professionals. the faculty of the college makes it all easier and interesting in making us study it as a fun subject rather than a practical subject.

How I regret taking admission at this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

They still expect students to do everything handwork. But students need to work digitally as after college they have to work on softwares at the job. College doesn't teach how to use these softwares. They ask you to do shitty assignments that are of no use when you actually work.

Placement Experience:

Since it's 2nd batch of the college, we haven't experienced the placements, but as said by college there are 99% chances students get placed in highly reputed companies and ad agencies, my plans after getting bachelor are looking for a job which pays me well and after 2 years looking forward to doing masters in the same field.

Overall I really liked the entire experience and teaching. But they could improve in terms of being more on par with industry trends. Also, the college needs to increase seats since there is a lot of demand and few colleges in the city.

Remarks:

Overall learning experience was good. Not Best but not bad. I feel they should hire more professional staff who has actual industry experience, for teaching softwares. But it was definitely good compare to other institutes who offers short term diploma courses.

Eligibility for the admission is 12th pass. I found the admission form on the college website and all other details about fees, programme structure on the college website ssvap.edu.in. The admission process was easy. We need to register for the personal interview. we are then require to submit the photography / video work done by ourself. based on that the personal interview is conducted. The time I joined this institute, it was the only one to offer a full time bachelor degree in photography. This institute offers study tours across India which helps an individual to gain on field knowledge, proves studios and a huge variety of equipments. You can use these for college assignments as well as personal shoots. The list of guest lecturers are quite good and these are the people working currently in the industry and can guide you well.
