Course Curriculum Overview
the college which was alloted to me is in Banglore and we know Banglore is an IT hub so the course which i took(CSE) provides a lot of oppurtunies in IT sector. Many oppurtunites is provided by our college which makes us familiar with real-world application like organising a hacakthon, providing a soft skill training etc.The college needs to be digitally advanced a little bit.The proffessors in this college are well experienced and the way of teaching is also good. 2 Internals and one External in one semester and multiple exams ina day makes the internal difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Not much placements opportunities for the students ,students has to make their own effort to get a good intership.if by chance no student is placed college provides their own internship with collaboration with some other company
Placement Experience
From 7th semester all the students become eligible for the campus placements.The students in this college are not very much concerned about the campus placements as the pacakages provided by the companies are less.average package is around 4.5 lakh to 5 lakh and highest package on compus is around 12 lakh. 90 % of the eligible students gets the placements.After getting the degree i will opt for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
as compared to the other colleges the fees in this college is fine.They take approximately 1200000 for four years.Only Karnatak's OBC and SC/ST can avail the scholarship. As we are in first year we were not exposed to campus employment yet,but from first year itself they start providing us with training for placements.
Campus Life
Habba one of the biggest fest in Karnataka is held in our college only and apart from it small festivals they keep organising. As far as library is concerned till now whatever book i have searched for,it was available int he library.The best thing i like about this college library is that all type of newspaper is available in our college. Classrooms are big enough with suitable amount of windows and fans.For education purpose each classroom is provided with projectors.This college provides the students with various kinds of clubs ,activities and extra curricular activities such as Model United nation,dancing club,singing club,health club,nature club and various types of other kind of sports.
Admission
COMED-K is comparitively easier than other exams providing variety of colleges at the same time in karnataka.In comedk after being alotted the college in first round we have to pay first year fees of the respective college.This fees is refundable till the second round,once you get into the third round there is no refund and you have to take whatever college is being alloted to you. In each round cutoff decrerases and the college is updated accordingly.comed k happens once in a year. The comedk counselling process took a long time.
