Likes

I liked in jipmer is its ambience that is like everywhere there is greenery.Everything is beautiful here
I also like the park facility for children and also for adults for doing some chit chats in evening and for morning and evening walk
In jipmer the best part is that our college is in-front of our hostel

Dislikes

I dislike the most is about the year back system
I also dislike the distance to walk from our hostel to get to the main entrance
I also dislike the climate here in jipmer

Course Curriculum Overview

The jipmer curriculum is really good and is acceptable for all the students.It makes our education more effective and competitive.Everyone is able to work based on the curriculum.There is an year back system in jipmer which makes students to do hardwork and get good score so that they won't get year back.The written exam is 3 hrs and is somewhat difficult to write that exam in that period of time.

Class Size: 94Course Fees: INR 11410 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Whole totally the fee is less as compared to other colleges.In jipmer the academic fee for one year is 11410 and is quiet reasonable and the hostel fee is 12000 that is around 1000 per month.we are also provided with state and district level scholarships that is also helpful for our education.

Campus Life

In jipmer there are lots of annual and technical festival.Every year there will be onam ,christmas,freshers for students.There is also exhibitions and other workshops also takes place in jipmer.There are a lot of arts,sports and science clubs are there in jipmer.

Hostel Facilities

In jipmer hostel there are lots of good facilities like bed,table n chair,personal shelf for each students.Jn our hostel there is no mess facility.The registration process for hostel takes plce through the jipmer edu.in site itself

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

In jipmer we get admission through neet exam.It takes place every year and allotment is based on neet score and rank.Application form,application fees and application dates are provided in nta site.Timing of neet exam is 3 hrs and 360 questions are there.For each questions only 1 min is provided.

Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
