Course Curriculum Overview

5

we select courses based on our convenient time which makes this college a pleasant place for learning and exploring. they teach and make students use them in an applicational form which makes students solve real-world problems. the placement here in VIT Is very good which most college lacks and it is must study place for students who have great dreams in computer skills.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I'm in my prefinal year but this is from my senior batch students get either placed in a company or get an internship. based on their performance in the company they get placed in the company. interviews come based on seasonal requirement in the company but placement office try their level best to join the company.

Placement Experience

4.5

I'm very sorry to say this as biotechnology students have very less placement opportunities and they get very little indutrial exposure. but for other departments like computer science there is huge companies coming to take students for placement and every one get a decent package in IT sector

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees for some courses are more than those of other colleges but it is manageable and the education and opportunities they provide are worth the money, when it comes to extra payments like college cultural fees, expenses during spending time out with friends cost more sometimes. The for arrears each subject its around 6000 rupees. they have a huge scholarship for students who come from low backgrounds and students who score more marks in the university.

Campus Life

4.5

good social life as we get to speak with people from different parts of the world. the faculty members are very friendly and they help us in a lot of things both in our personal and professional lives. there is counseling in college where students get highly experienced psychiatrists who speak and have our things personally VIT is a place where students learn, and grow at the same time. it is safe for girls as there is protection when you are inside campus and the campus is also ragging-free.

Admission

eligibility; more than 80 marks in PCB subjects application form: available online on vit. ac website and fees range from 600-1500 and mostly they are open from November and during board result times reservation benefits: The star students category is there where the college takes care of all expenses and difficulty level of exam: for biotechnology, you don't have to apply but for BE you have to write the VITEEE Exam so you get selected by rank area of improvement: students can be selected based on their school marks as this ranking system generally focuses on students' critical level skills which most students from lower background levels lack so at least for government school students they can be selected by school merit marks.

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.
