- The best thing I liked in the university is the teaching faculties. Professors who are also scientists are very polite and interacting with us as we are friends
- Also there are opportunities for interacting with all Ph.D scholars so that they help in everything
- The facilities in the university is also the best. Facilities such as laboratories, computer labs, libraries etc are just best
Dislikes
- Examination pattern is not suitable for the present and future. Questions are just measuring memory power
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is according to the Pharmacy council of India PCI. There are 8 branches in total in Master of pharmacy in Jamia Hamdard University. Teaching is just perfect in Jamia Hamdard and teachers who are also scientists are really talented.
Placement Experience
The university provides a high rate of placement for students master of pharmacy course. Students can take part in placement interviews from third semester. Also the pharmacy branch has a tie up with the leading pharma industry Sun Pharma. This also really helps in future of students. The students from Jamia Hamdard University has placed in several companies such as Minimalist, Sun Pharma, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is Rs. 100000 per semester for M.Pharm along with Rs.5000 per semester as exam fees. For GPAT qualified students, University assists for pursuing stipend from UGC. The stipend from UGC is Rs.12400 each month throughout the course.
Campus Life
Campus Life is really really good. The campus provides opportunity to interact with people around globe since there are foreign students are also there. There are nature club, Yoga club, NCC, NSS, various Literature clubs etc. Also there are separate grounds and courts for sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton etc. The whole campus is green and smoking free campus in middle of New Delhi.
Admission
Admission to master of pharmacy is based on Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test GPAT. An offline counselling will be conducted and selection process is based on GPAT rank. There is 50% reservation for Muslim category students. What I don't like in admission process is counselling is conducted offline and it is difficult for students who are residing far away.
