JIPMER - Its pros and cons

1.Related to medical field and patient care 2.Curriculum provides both theoretical and practical experience . 3. Clinical training should be improved to improve skill. 4. There are internal exam of 4 for each subjects and also send up ( model exam ) and university exam. Marks of all exams are taken into consideration.

Intership opportunities are available and also stipends are available , i am not sure avout the amount . Projects are also available and helps students in buliding there task and research activities

At the beginning of the course , we have to pay 11,000/- in college and for those who avail hostel must pay 20,000/- initially. For mess it is around 3000/- per month From 2nd year onwards we have to pay 5870/- in college every year and 12,000/- in hostel . There are various financial aid available like central and state scholarship and also students of ex servicemen has other special scholarships. Each student can avail only one scholarship. Job opportunities are avialable

There are various celebrations like interclass competition, holi celebrations, onam celebrations, xmas celebrations, pongal and various other cultural festivals are celebrated. The main annual festival is SPANDAN which hapens in the month of September- October every year Central library facility is available at free cost which is accessible 24hrly and Ebooks facilities are also available there. Smart class facilities including training in hospitals are available. Various sports and extracurricular activities are also offered and the training for these are at free costs. Students club like JSA is available for the students and other student portal like SNA etc

1) There are basically 3 type of room : single , double and triple and the rent for these are different . Student can avail single room only from 2or 3 yr. The hostel fee is around 12,000 per month for triple room and 15,000 for the other two. Initially at thale start of course we have to pay 20,000/- 2) Currently no mess is available in hostel but other common mess is available which is affordable and quality of food is around 6/10 3)Registrations is through the website TCSION 4)within jipmer

1. The admission is based on neet score and rank and the person should attain minimum cut off mark for neet. 2. The application form , application fee and application dates will be available in JIPMER website( jipmer.edu.in) 3.There are various reservation like obc ews pondicherry reservation etc. 4. Exam is NEET based and there is no separate exam 5. Admission can be made online
