- Indoor stadium which highle facilitated and which has 8 badminton court.
- Patient exposure: A huge number of patients are coming daily from different states .
- Infrastructure: College is in 195 acre with almost highly planted and shaded atmophere . Beautifully maintained and cleaned everyday
Dislikes
- Over strict : some unwanted rules and regulations for almost all functions.
- Restricted and limited leaves: there are lots of restricted leaves compared to other colleges and states.
- Overduty : Even if we are students sometimes we were treated like staffs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The thing influenced me to choose this course is the college hospital facility and patient flow . Especially the college ranking in all india level . Curriculam was planned in a way that the first year include basic subjects like Anatomy , physiology, microbikogy and pathology . The exam will be little tough . And from second yesr onwards the subjects will be concentrated on department . For me its Anaesthesia.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is around 7000 and in first with soke addition cost it will come around 11000. Scholarships are available based on their category and state. The otheer includes 12000 rupees for hostel in a year , which worth on comparing with the facility and cleaning process. Mess shoukd be separately payed which is depend on the mess we choose. Usually it stsrts from 3000 rupees . So around 5000 rupees expense will be there in every month Job oppurtunities are there but in India its less paying in private sector and in central goverment institute it is average at first . Salary are more in foreign countries for these paramedical course
Campus Life
College life is good . We have lots of function held in every year. Especially SPANDAN , an intercollege compettion for both arts and sports . It is grand program where lots of colleges from other states will come to our college participate. We have Holi programs , interclass competition , sports day. For sports we have an indoor stadium for badmintin, volleyball, basket ball , table tennis . And outdoor ground for football, futsal, basket ball, tennis, volleyball and swimming pool . Lots of club activities are held in JIPMER which includes science club, tech club, informal club, social service club , sports club etc..
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good . We have double room and single room . A slight pay difference is there . Toilet are common . But enough in number . Will be cleaned everyday. The room contains study table, coat and attached cupboard. Fee payment is through separate site via SBI . Meals include both veg and non veg which I wilk rate 8 out of 10 for taste . Chapatis, puri, rice , idli, dosa , upma, porotta are usual things available.
Admission
Eligilibility is NEET qualification . The application forms and all will be available in the of jipmer . jipmer.edu.in Application process will be held after 1 month of NEET result . Certain reservation are available for all courses. Especially for puduchery residents. Exams are average in level . As usual for NEET biology , 9hysics and chenistry should be improved
