You get lot of free time to explore various options.
Attendance rules are not very strict you can get time for competitive examinations preparation etc
Placement opportunities and alumini network is strong.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old and needs improvement.
There is a need for hybrid model of education.
There are not many spots to chill in and around college

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good it includes industrial exposure as well through internships and industrial visits. There can be hybrid model of study including online teaching methodology as well. In a year there are 2 semesters and in each semester we have 2 mid semester and 1 end semester examinations.

Class Size: 34Course Fees: INR 127500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students get internships after their third year and department usually arrange paid as well as unpaid internships. If student is interested he/she can go for internship after second year as well they can reach out of faculties and training & placement professor.

Placement Experience

Usually placement starts in 7th semester although few students get ppo right after their internships. Around 85 % of students get placed but few branches like cse,it, mechanical, chemical,paint, plastic have placements percentage going up till 95 to 100

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 1st year btech is around 135000 and for rest of the three years is 127000 per year. Hostel charges are around 65000 for a year. You can avail up scholarship based on your financial condition and there are merit based scholarship as well under ascpc.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of college is decent you can't compare it with modern private universities it has all amenities but there are few things that are outdated as college is quite old. Clubs and societies are lead by students and you will enough liberty to put your thoughts and exposure is decent.

Admission

1)60 percentage in 12th for general and 55 percentage for category students is required. 2) Along with this valid jee mains score is needed. 3) There are reserved seats for all categories as well such as sc,obc,ews.

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Real Story of SCRIET

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

I choose this college over other is because i have no better option that this . I even don't do too much coding. Yeah i did applied for other college even i got iiit bhagalpur but due to its high fee and less placement ratio i dropped it. I even got mmmut ece as well but dont opted . And the placement are very good for my course so thats the main reason to select this college. The admission process it simple give jee mains exam. Mark good rank fill hbtu couselling and wait for counselling result . They also give you chance in spot round counselling.
