The course curriculum is somewhere average. Students are themselves dedicated towards practical learning and get match an industry, ready student.

Internships Opportunities

Only a few companies come to our college for providing internship. Most of the students apply for the off-campus internship. Internship culture is very poor.

Placement Experience

Placement is somewhat average. The average package is around 4 lpa. Training and Placement cell is developing. Hoping for better placements this year.

College Events

Every year college hosts its Cultural and Technical fest. Which is pretty good.Some celebrity have performed in our college fest like Kumar Vishwas, Tulsi Kumar(Bollywood singer).

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very affordable. Tuition fee for this college is only 35000 Rs per year. The fee is so less is because it is a government college.

Fees and Financial Aid

College doesn't provide you any kind of load. You can apply for it in the band. But college provides few scholarship( especially for economically weaker students).

Hostel Facilities

College doesn't have a hostel. Students who are from outside Delhi, live on rent either in a room or in PG.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network is very poor. This is because of poor interaction between junior and senior. Students hardly know any students who have passed out 1 or 2 years ago.

Faculty

The faculty is somewhere average. They are highly qualified (some of the faculty members have degrees from IITs) and they are recruited by UPSC. But most of the faculty members are average in their teaching ability

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Placement Experience:

Admission and carrier development cell is there in the college and provides good support but for average packages but for top packages only on your own self you have to grab them. One campus packages are between 3 lakhs 5 lakhs up to 10,20 lacs and highest once even up to 64 lakhs but off campus goes up to crore.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

FOT is the next IIT DELHI

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed the course because of my interest in electrical and the faculty of electrical is very supportive about innovations and experiments, the curriculum here is based on the new education policy, they also teach financial literacy and english fluency which prepares you for the real world , they could improve the syllabus little bit ,it is slightly outdated . The midsem exams will be around mid October and end sem exam will be around mid December
