The faculties of the department are well qualified and most of them did their Post doc fellowship from prestigious institutes around the different parts of the world. The curriculum prepares you for real world applications as the subject has wide range of applications in the field of medical and non medical.

A fee of 2680? should be paid per year. If u want to stay at the university hostels u have to pay a fee of 4450? per year. The hostel admission is based on the marks you have secured in the previous exam completed and university provides reservation benefits to candidate from weaker communities.

The campus is surrounded by garhwal himalaya. It provides good facilities in sports like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball etc. A good gymnasium is also available in the stadium. Rudraksha fest and annual day are celebrated every year probably in the month of February. NCC and NSS makes high impact on the student life

Rooms are 3 sharing. Each and every rooms are provided with study table, chair, bed and alamara. U can have food from the hostel mess (3200?/month) or from the university canteen. Cooking is not allowed in the hostel. PG rooms are available near the university but university hostel is more economic (4450?/yr)

The candidate must have secured 50% Marks in BSc from any university which is accredited by UGC. Candidates can find the application form, application fee details and application dates through the official website of the institution. There are reservation benefits available for the candidates other than general category and also for the candidate from economically weaker family. Last year admission was based on the CUET PG exam conducted by NTA.
