Course Curriculum Overview
The decision for choosing the course was that the institute provides industry demanded skills in a very short period of time. The faculty provides good environment for study they have smart classes, labs, workshop, library. And provide extra curriculum activity that helps you grow your skill in corporate life. There are some areas they need to improve like providing more internship to students The timing and frequency of exam are good and they are not too much tough
Internships Opportunities
Most of the time the internship act as a training period with no stipend But if you work on your project and skills you can ask for stipend in big companies. However I have not done my internship yet. So I cnt provide through experience about it so I will rate it 5 for now
Placement Experience
After 5th semester you become eligible for camus placement There are different companies like TATA motorsand projects, maruti suzuki, Ashok Leyland, LG, godrej, DMRC, Samsung, and some other engineering and manufacturing industry related companies come for placement The average package offer is 3.5 lac per annum and highest is 6.5 lac per annum From the last 2 year there is above 95% students get placement. I would get experience in industry and also aim for some govt undertaking jobs and post like SSC junior engineer
Fees and Financial Aid
There is significant rise in fee structure from previous years after the management shift from board of technical education to the Delhi skill and entrepreneurship University, DSEU. The total fee of the course right now is Rs 50575 which is divided in 6 semester. There are scholarship provided to student of SC/ST/OBC/EWS Category. And also provided on merit basis. There are also some scolarship provide with collaboration with large companies like TATA to students with relaxation in tuition fee
Campus Life
The institute incourages students to participate in various events like cultural, sports technical programmes, there are many events like hackathon, technical fair,job fair, etc and Saminars with industry experts were organised in different campus of DSEU. There is library provided in the institute. There are newspaper, journals and all type of technological and market, industry related books and magazines available. There is NCC available at University they provide extra curriculum activity. There is a play ground for volleyball and other activities. However there is no college 's sports team. There are different clubs are made related to music, art, and culture available.
Admission
The campus run under DSEU. There is a CET exam taken for the admission purpose and depending upon the rank you score you can took admission in various programmes provided by the University in different campus across Delhi. My rank was 2875. There are 200 seats available in Full time diploma in mechanical engineering. Admission process is simple. Online application is available from the month of May or June. Then they start providing notification about exam and councelling process. There is preference provided to Delhi candidates and there is some level reservation provide for SC/ST/OBC category student. Since the institute is still semi government so admission process become sometime slow otherwise it is good
