MDU an College for Higher education aspirers

The course here is regularly updated the course for us is updated just 2 years ago they added Data science and Artificial intelligence to our course ie CSE and AI/ML is just introduced so the curriculum is just updated for them the course contents are good. However the teaching methods can be improved somewhere the practical aspects seems missing which is important for real world applications

Students can apply for placement in 4th year most of the companies set criteria for the 4th year students however there are some companies that allows 3rd year students too , Companies that visit the campus are Airtel ,Tcs , Infosys , Cognizant, Wipro etc the average salary offered is 400000 and max we can say around 1,000,000 . Around 25% students get placed most of the students are aspiring for higher education . My plan is to get a job in WebDev.

Fees is pretty reasonable about 80000 for the year splitted between 2 semester and hostel fees is 18600 per year and mess dues are 2300-2500 per month hikes in fees happen rarely i would say they hike about 25% in a span of 10 years Scholarship like the PMS One or the government ones are also available and there is also relaxation in fees for EWS category special scholarship program are present for SC/ST too

There are many fests like MDU Rangbahar , Science fests , Tech fests , Annual Sportech and more Libraries have plenty of coursework books there is nothing to worry about the book availability Teaching classroom are having fans proper benches there are smart classroom which have projectors Lab are equipped with fairly good speced PCs and have AC Campus is really big 650acres and is clean well maintained it is the winner for cleanest University what you would expect

In 1st hostel is given on distance based merit list after that we need to renew our hostel application in 2nd year 3rd year and 4th year for getting hostel onwards 2nd year you should get good grades as grades are a criteria too alongside distance. Rooms are good in 1st and 2nd year i got a shared room with 1 person. From 3rd you can get room for single there is one bed one table one chair in single room double that in shared room . Food is below average they serve you lentils every day in lunch in the dinner there are lentils and vegetables breakfast is good

Eligibility process is simple just need to give jee mains and according to merit you can take admission if your rank is around 1.5 lakh you can get admission in Btech CSE or AI/ML easily in the offline admission procedure if you are unable to get it now then there is a option to slide to other branch after 1st sem result You can get the form at mdu.ac.in form charges were 1000 at my time the admission process is pretty smooth all the teachers are helpful in the admission process.
