The infrastructure is very nice. I like it how the college has this much beauty. The parks, auditorium, class buildings.
The campus life it's pretty good here. Every one is free to improve themselves

Nothing major,but the leave application for going out takes time.
Nothing just some times the guards here are too strict

Course Curriculum Overview

I have opted for btech CSE. The curriculum of the course is very good. They give us hands on experience of the real world problems. The faculty is very good. The teaching methods were good.the exam timmings were convenient for us students to prepare well. The difficultly level depends on the individual knowledge of the subject. But on average it is not that much simple

Internships Opportunities

The intership opportunity can be start from 3rd year of college. The stipend offered will be given by the companies before the interview. So that we can know if we want to apply for it.the roles are dependent on the course you opted.

Placement Experience

We students are eligible for campus placement at the end of third year. The campus placements are pretty good. The average salary offered is 800000/anum. Most of the big MNC 's come for the placement drives. The highest package is 3cr/anum but it's not easy to that one so the highest we agree on 65lac/anum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee after the reduction for me is 90000/sem the fees doesn't change for the whole four years of time but we must also pay a sum of 8000/yr as examination fee. According to me the fee is pretty much affordable. If you want you can apply for part-time jobs in the university.

Campus Life

The university infrastructure is magnificent. The campus life is good here. Every day there is an event going on somewhere in the campus. The tech fests, festivals and extra curricular activities are very good. The facilities are good. Sports are encouraged here to play.

Hostel Facilities

As I have opted for a four seater AC room it cost me 90000/yr but the room is nice we have our own ac and a greaser and own cupboard and a study table and a chair. Overall the room atmosphere is very nice.

Hostel Fee: INR 180000 per year

Admission

The addmission process is good. The people from this university came to our college for promoting and I applied for the entrance exam. The exam questions are good mostly about basics and after the examination I got 80% score on the test so I had some benefits of the fee reduction and so I got in. You can also find the application form on lpu.in the test for the application is called lpunest.in

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
