Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is quite good. But do keep in mind it's not world class. Keep your expectations in check it's Indian education system. Labs and equipments are also present. Most work some don't. Work load is very low , you can do anything you want while pursuing the course. Most of the teachers are chill.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

We have to do internship after 3rd year (during the summer break that happens before final year). In core sector companies like Reliance, ExxonMobil, Dow chemicals, Hindustan Unilever, Tata international, Adani Wilmar, etc. Come in computer science & IT most big companies like Google, AMAZON, UBER, MICROSOFT, these Don't come on campus be it internship or full time job.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement scene is good in most of the branches. Average you can expect around 6 lakh. In 3rd year summer break you do internship and in final year the placements Start. Some people prepare for competitive exams like GATE, CAT, UPSC, etc. You can get good time to prepare for competitive exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

To be honest fees is reasonable not very high as compared to private institutions. You can also get State provided scholarship (approx 50k) every year. You can pay the fees at once or in two installments. Those who are not eligible for state provide scholarship they can apply for another scholarship provided for needy people to pay the course.

Campus Life

4.5

College life is good. Events and fest do happen. There are various club's, so in this regard it's good. Some examples of clubs are the Autorob club, Poetry club, NSS, etc. In the library, you can find most books regarding course curriculum.

Admission

JEE Mains was the entrance criteria. One point to note is that HBTU conducts its own counseling for admission. Admission process was smooth, I didn't find any difficulty in the admission process. Keep checking the college website for additional info regarding the counseling rounds while admission.

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field

The records placement cell is impressive because they organize useful and up-to-date seminars from time to time. Therefore the placement record is one of the best in Greater Noida. Last year was 98% placement. Placements start from the 7th semester.
