Course Curriculum Overview

3

Well Course Curriculum here is better than most of Tier2-3 colleges. as far as i have noticed the course here is as par as course in IIT's, although the level of questions asked in exams is very high even better questions than many of NIT's especially in programming subject. faculties are very qualified and nice too but there are some rude proffs also. Cirriculum of Programming courses is here is very good it prepares you very well through deep understanding of subject rather than rote learning. for reak world applications programming and humanities courses are desigend well but for other courses like physics they are not much of use. Curriculum is pretty much updated. frequency of exams (test-1,2 and 3) is around 30-40 days. in beggining of first year there will be gaps in between of exams but as you will go in next semester most exams will be on consecutive days. Level of Exams is pretty hard as compared to other colleges and one must have to work really hard to get a Good CGPA here.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I am in Second Semester So i havent got any oppurtunity of internship although through seniors i have got to know that from second year onwards companies/startups visits for internship programs. although in second year mostly girls and guys who are very good in thier domain get internsnip

Placement Experience

4.5

Students from 6th Semester become eligible for campus placements. as of placements of graduating batch 2023 , total 164 quality companies recruited and total of 1069 offered made. Highest is 82.89Lacs as of now by Atlassian. Average was 10.94 Lacs and median was 8.50Lacs. Percentage of total offer was 140% and prominent companies were Atlassian , Adobe , Linkedin , Google , Amazon , Zomato , Microsoft , Morgan Stanly and more. For more information you can check thier website : jiit.ac.in. My plans was getting the degree is to get a well paying job in Top MNC's like Google and Microsoft

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship information is mentioned in college's website. altho not so many students avail there scholarship and iv never heard any of my friend got any kind of scholarship. although u can apply for state government scholarship and college gives full assistance in that. about fees , fees hikes every year. there is no such specific rate of hike. as of admission in 2023 total fees ( tution + development ) is 1336800 and hostel charges is around 1 Lakh per semester. There is a scholarship for fincancial weak student which opens up in second semester although never heared of anyone who got it.

Campus Life

4

There are two annual fests : Impressions and Converge for different campus as there as two campus of jitt. sector 62 campus is very good as it has nearby metro , mall and everything u can think of in a metro city whereas in sector 128 there is no campus life it feels like a school as there are no malls nearby no metro its just away from the main noida city. infra of both campus are god but 62 campus got an world class infra. libraries are mainted in good position also. sports activities in sector 128 is more as there is a ground there which is not in sector 62. annual fests are conducted around feb-march. annual fest of sec 128 is better than sec 62 and even there are rumours that highest placements are from sec128. classrooms are well maintained with proper cooling in winters. sports is not much promoted in JIIT although there are basic facilities in both the campus. There are multiple Technical , Social , Drama , Music Clubs in both campus and they provide a lot of oppurtunites

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Table,Chair,Bed and Almirah is provided in the room. Room is dual sharing and the size of room is average and they are pretty much well maintained although fees of hostel is 1lac per sem which is very much as compared to the facilities they are giving. Mess is average althogh in start of academic year they will give the best food. Registration Process for Hostel is pretty simple is done on the first day of arrival on hostel and is done quickly. there are a lot of localities near sec 62 ex: indirapuram , sector 62 and there are pretty cheap options available there. around sector 128 there are no such facilities but there is a village near sector 128 ( sultanpur ) which is just a couple of minutes away from sector 128 and there are couple of PG there altough the locality is not good and it doesnt feel like you are living in Noida.

Admission

Admission Process was very transparent. One must have to take Intermediate exam or JEE mains exam to get into this college. There is a reservation of SC/ST student as per the goverment guidelines other than that there is no reservation. to get application form one must check out thier website : jiit.ac.in application fees is 1000rs for one mode of application. The Frequency of college exams is approximately monthly, with three exams known as Test-1,2 and 3, which occur in intervals of around 30-40days. in addition , there are two lab evaluations(mid sem and end sem). The Level of Difficulty is high compared to other private and government colleges. the coding exam , referred to as Software development fundamentals(SDF) is one of the most challenging subjects in the first year. the exams here prioritize understanding over rote learning with almost no theory questions ( except in Physics ).. The admission process is through an offline counselling system which is transparent in real time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
