Placement are good , companies are coming in college for selection of the students, they conduct the aptitude test, coding round , interview etc After that the skilled and knowledgeable candidate is selected by company For our Electronics department hardware as well as software companies are visiting last year Softenger India Pvt Ltd,TCS,Tech Mahindra,Uno Minda Pvt. Ltd. Infosys,Persistent Systems,IBM etc 60 % students get placement from the college Highest packege for last year is 1200000/-

I pay the 62975/- to the college Actual feels is 113000/- but I apply for the government scholarship EBC which is provided by government of Maharashtra on the mahadbt portal Student from various categories are apply for the government schemes which give the financial scholarship to the students to pursuing the education Also The national Scholarship Portal is there , students who are outside of the Maharashtra they can't apply for EBC so they can apply for the NSP scholarship

College organise the function and events during academic year. College Gathering is there , name by Atharva Festival Traditional Day , Cultural Day is also there Sports are also in the month of February Technical festivals is there WITCHAR in which the present competition, cool coding , aptitude test competition,quzotronics , quiz competition, ideathon , Hackathon, project competition such types of events are there College library is full of books , all types of academic Educational books is available at Central Library

This College is famous for the engineering, Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur is the most popular college in Solapur, apart from that students are coming forbthe admission from different states also Student who clear the 12 the exam with PCM group and given the Entrance Exam CET or JEE they can apply for the admission Admission process starts in month of June ,July so all process is offline only Student visit to college and fill the admission form and submit the fees with original documents
