Student welfare club, activities are amazing.
Taking duty leaves for attendance as well as for enjoyment
Campus, here we can see that a small city exist in campus.

Dislikes

UMC, it is unfair mean case.it will cancel our scholarship.
Hostel leave system is bad. If we apply for night leave we have to come tomorrow, bychance we came early the will put indisciplinary case.
Hostel Mess are okay. But not good.eating same food for 1 year become difficult task

College provides best infrastructure. Some teacher's are excellent and some are decent. Overall, the B.Tech curriculum at our university effectively balances theoretical knowledge with practical applications, preparing students for successful careers in their chosen field and providing a solid foundation for further academic pursuits.

Internships Opportunities

Internship are started in 3rd year. Student get internship early so that they can get experience and get good placement. Many internship provide 25000 approx per month so that student can earn and become self dependent

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good. But we have to study hard. If we look maximum package of this university is 64 lakh. A student who is average in studies but have good coding knowledge can get good placement. Maximum students are placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are provided in difference phases. Students who took admission early hot maximum of 50 percentage scholarship. It reduces in every phase. For example, i have taken admission in third phase, where I got 42 percent scholarship which is maximum they provide in 3rd phase

Campus Life

It is vast university. Many student welfare clubs are there. Many student go to different places for admission. Overall social life of my university is good. Teaching is done by projectors. There are proper labs for experiments.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are quite good. Proper security is provided. PGs near university are cheaper than hostels. But parents do not allow their child to live out. I must say student should live atleast one year in hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

We can apply on LPU's official website. Admission process is easy. All the work is done online.? Only we have to present at time of reporting for document verification which took maximum 10 minutes . If anybody have JEE percentile greater than 85 ,his entrance is possible. Else , the person should give LPUNEST exam. Scholarship are provided on the basis of 12th and LUNEST scholarship hip.

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
