CET, BBSR review

The curriculum is very useful. In the 1st yr the students are taught basic physics, mathematics and human values for the betterment of the individual. Every student can relate to the topics as they were started from the basics.

Tuition fees are distinguished as self-sustaining cources, such as mine, which is higher than the normal fees. Computer Science related cources are under self-sustaining course fee structure and is usually around 90k per year but through merit some relaxation could be provided such as TFW and scholarships.

Campus life is quite decent. I am having a wonderful life at CET, BBSR. There are a lot of clubs for different activities. It is having world class infrastructure. It's one of the best college of eastern India and is now a University with aim to rival that of NITs and IITs of Odisha.

Hostel facility is a bit diificult to achieve as 1st year students are alotted hostels outside of campus and may have to wait for second year to avail campus hostel of which only two hostels are available. But overall if once available, hostel facilities are good enough and are affordable.

College accepts students through OJEE councelling and on the basis of JEE marks. Each student is allowed to sit for the exam only once per course. The cut-off percentile typically hovers around 92 percentile for my course. The curriculum is designed to be highly beneficial. In the first year, students are introduced to basic physics, mathematics, and human values to foster personal growth. The topics are structured starting from the fundamentals, ensuring that every student can easily grasp them. The annual course fee stands at 90k, with additional expenses including hostel fees (55 thousand). Scholarships are available for economically disadvantaged students. The college boasts decent placement opportunities.
